The move

For those of you who don't know, we moved back to Idaho!  It was a sudden decision for us and we packed ourselves up and were gone in 2 weeks time.  Jacob had changed his mind and will be going back to BSU in the fall.  We keep laughing that he will graduate from my home town and I graduated from his.  Anyway, charli loved all the boxes and had fun coloring all over them.  We had to hurry and make one more trip to the coast and one more trip to the zoo before we moved.  We went to Cannon Beach the Saturday before we moved.  When we first got there it was pretty cold, after about an hour it warmed up and the sun came out.  Charli loved playing in the sand.  We walked around for a little while and Charli fell asleep in the stroller (which totally surprised us).  We had a lot of fun and I do miss being so close to the ocean, however I am excited for boating season to start here in Idaho.  We sure do miss our friends that we made while we were in Portland but we are both really happy to be back in Idaho.  I am happy to be back near my family.

Charli discovered her shadow for the first time while we were at the beach and it was pretty funny for us to watch her.

Easter 2012

This easter we had a lot of fun together.  We dyed easter eggs, went to a petting zoo and egg hunt, and I made a nice easter dinner for the three of us.  The easter bunny left some fun presents and candy for Charli to find when she woke up.  Also, I was so in love with Charli's easter dress, I thought she looked adorable in it.

Disneyland Day 2

The second day at Disneyland was a lot of fun. The only thing we wished we did different is buy the three day park hopper pass. That way we could come and go as we pleased and have one more day. We all had so much fun and we can't wait to go back. I think next time we will also do the princess lunch that my sister Hilary did with her girls (Her blog is listed on the right, they had a lot of fun and she said it was totally worth it!)

Charli trying out Mickey's chair
Charli didn't nap the first day but she did the second day. We were walking from Disneyland to CA adventure to go get something for lunch and meet up with everyone else. My sister was giving her a shoulder ride and Charli started to fall asleep on Hilary's head.

The worker with Minnie offered to take our picture all together, a little blurry, but we will take it

We watched the parade the 2nd day also, and it was still totally awesome. Charli will still sit and watch the parade on you tube.

Disneyland...the happiest place on earth!

Day 1

On the bus with Mommy April, Lucy and Millie. The girls had a blast on the bus, "no buckles."

My Aunt Karen spoiled the girls and bought then all a giant sucker.
Charli at the parade. I think the parade was her favorite part.

We had a lot of fun at Disneyland and can't wait to go back again. Charli was fun to watch and she liked all the rides we took her on.

5 years...

First date
First time wearing the Indian costumes
Jacob proposing to me
Our wedding day
We don't have a picture with all three of us in the Indian costumes, but I had to post this one so you could see our matching costumes.
Christmas 2011
Yesterday was our five year anniversary. We can not believe that it has all ready been five years. We are still in love and we love Charli, she is the best thing that has happened in the last 5 years. We have so many great memories together, like that for 4 of the 6 Halloweens that we have been together we have been Indians. Come on, it is a total classic for us now. Besides, the costumes are awesome. Sometimes I think that that is the only reason he married me. My mom made those costumes and told me that if we didn't get married she wanted Jacob's back, and she was totally serious. We have good memories in those costumes though, we were wearing those the first time we said "I love you" to each other. We wore those for Charli's first Halloween. Anyway, we are still in love today. I just wanted to share some pictures from the last five years, not too many though.

Hilary, since I know you are probably one of our main followers (and quite possibly the only other person that looks at my blog besides me), this is for you. We miss you and your girls, okay and Doug too!

Thanksgiving

This year we stayed in Portland for Thanksgiving. We missed our families a lot, but we had a good time here. Two families in our ward invited us to have Thanksgiving with them, it was delicious and we had a good time. I didn't take any pictures on Thanksgiving. We went to the Macy's holiday parade in downtown Portland the day after Thanksgiving and it was a lot of fun for us.

Hmmm...Century High (Jacob's high school in Pocatello) came all this way to be in the Parade!
Yep we had a prime spot, right next to the trash can.
